Details that shape the installation.
LED, LCD, or a single commercial display?
Direct-view LED walls use LED modules. Tiled LCD walls combine individual panels; single commercial screens suit menus and directories. Each format has different mounting, power, and service-access requirements. Review pixel pitch, content, and viewing distance before choosing LED equipment. See LG’s direct-view LED guide and Planar’s viewing-distance guide. Displays are separate from LED lighting installations.
Mounting, power, cabling, and setup
Review equipment weight, wall construction, support, ventilation, circuit capacity, outlets, and cable routes. Identify structural work or engineering separately. The quote defines responsibilities for hardware, network settings, source connections, playback checks, specialist commissioning, and support. Content creation and subscriptions require separate arrangements. See our electrical load calculation service and Samsung’s installation guidance.
NYC building access and approvals
We serve Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Share loading access, elevators, ceiling height, approved work hours, and building requirements. Storefront-facing and exterior displays need a separate review of building consent and applicable sign, zoning, and electrical requirements. Read NYC DOB sign permit requirements. Related outlets, circuits, and lighting are covered by our commercial electrical service.
A quote built around your installation.
LED video wall installation cost in NYC depends on display size and format, mounting height, site conditions, electrical work, access equipment, and schedule.
- Commercial screens: mounting positions, screen count, outlets, cable routes, and source connections.

Questions, answered.
Do you install LED video walls and commercial displays in NYC stores?
Yes. LED Electricians Tech installs customer-supplied LED video walls and commercial displays for retail stores, restaurants, showrooms, offices, and lobbies across NYC. The mounting system, electrical work, access, and setup scope are confirmed for each project.
Do you install customer-supplied LED displays?
Yes. Our service is installation of customer-supplied displays. Send the equipment model numbers, specifications, mounting hardware details, and photos of the installation area. We review compatibility and site requirements, then identify the installation labor, electrical work, materials, and setup included in the written quote.
What is the difference between an LED video wall and a commercial display?
A direct-view LED video wall uses LED modules to form a larger image. A tiled LCD wall uses multiple individual panels, while a single commercial display can show menus, promotions, or directories. Each format has different mounting, power, control, and maintenance requirements.
Does a video wall need a dedicated electrical circuit?
That depends on the equipment power requirements and the existing electrical system. We review the proposed load, available circuits, and manufacturer instructions before recommending outlets, new circuits, or a wider capacity assessment.
How much does commercial display installation cost?
Pricing depends on the equipment size and type, wall and mounting conditions, installation height, cabling, electrical work, access, and setup. Send your project details for a quote with the included work identified. Hardware, software subscriptions, and specialist work should be itemized where applicable.
Can installation be planned around store opening hours?
Tell us your business hours, preferred work window, delivery access, and target launch date. Scheduling is confirmed after reviewing the equipment, site conditions, building requirements, and any approvals needed.
Do you handle exterior or storefront-facing LED signs?
These requests need a separate review of the location, equipment rating, mounting, electrical work, and applicable approvals. Send the proposed location before ordering equipment. Additional design or sign specialists may be needed, and the accepted scope will be confirmed in writing.
Which NYC boroughs do you serve?
We serve stores and commercial properties in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Include the business address and building access details with your quote request.
